Beginner Classes

Small, LGBTQ+ friendly group class covering a beginner introduction to Squats, Deadlifts, and Bench Presses. Offered Saturdays on a pay-what-you-can basis.

The Squat, Deadlift, and Bench Press are three of the most fundamental lifts you can perform in the gym, but can be a bit intimidating to perform if you lack confidence, education, and practice.

In a small group setting, we’ll go over the mechanics of the focus movement and other variations, perform assessments to identify unique personal needs, learn about gym equipment, and go over an assortment of accessory exercises to create a well-rounded workout. At the end of the class, you’ll come away with a complete, personalized Leg, Pull, or Push Day workout plan, as well the knowledge to perform and progress it on your own with confidence.

Typically, Leg Day classes will be offered twice a month, and Pull and Push days will be each offered once a month. Maximum of 4 attendees per class.

LGBTQ+ Classes are offered on a pay-what-you-can basis, and payment is not required to attend. You may make a payment of your choice to support renting the space and paying the coach. Suggested price: $20-70. Thank you!
